Generally a spare part is needed immediately. This may be difficult if, for instance, a clamping cylinder or a roller bar has been in use for many years, and the right spare part is not at hand. HILMA has found a solution to this problem which is so easy, that it may be described as "ingenious": The PART number is directly engraved or stamped on the clamping element. Furthermore, our customer may find the part number
• on the order confirmation
• on the shipping documents (delivery note, packing slip etc.)
• on the invoice
The part number, which is based on the parts list, will help us to find the required spare part for the clamping cylinder, the roller bar or the power unit quickly and easily.

Our dedication to quality also applies to our spare parts service. With a stock of about 15,000 parts, overnight delivery is no problem to us and giving a good service to our customers is a matter of course. However how is it possible that appropriate spare parts are available even after 20 years? The secret is the above mentioned part number which facilitates the search for the original cylinder even after a long time has elapsed.
Complete clamping cylinders are also "spare parts" - required for your press/machine. For this kind of "spare part", the same method is applied: based on the part number every cylinder can be rebuilt, including all attachments and accessories that were supplied with the original cylinder. Overnight delivery, however, cannot be promised for complete cylinders but most of our standard clamping elements are kept in stock.

Just give us a call and advise us of the part number. We will then check whether all the necessary spare parts are kept in stock and determine a delivery time together with you. You bring us your defective clamping cylinder, and our repair service will help you immediately.
